The Most Comfortable Travel Shoes

After walking for nearly 25 miles a day while backpacking in Japan we quickly realized that having comfortable travel shoes is not just a priority, it’s a necessity. When we returned back to the States with our sore aching feet we noticed that we couldn’t find any shoes that were supportive, but also stylish. Sure, we could wear our hiking shoes but do you really think they’re the most practical for everyday wear? No!

Once we were introduced to Superfeet’s shoe insoles we were hooked. We put a pair in all of our shoes, but Superfeet was only missing one thing… a shoe line of their own. We’re pumped to announce that has since changed this spring. Superfeet has now launched their shoe line, and it is EPIC. No longer do you have to choose between comfort or style, you can have both!

Here are some things we love about Superfeet’s new footwear:
  • Each pair of shoes comes with a cork Superfeet insole inside that is durable and supportive.
  • They are a perfect blend of outdoorsy, sporty, and urban which makes them extremely versatile. Each pair of shoes can be worn with many different outfits.
  • There are many color and style varieties so they’re sure to have something for everyone!
  • All of these new kicks are incredibly lightweight which makes them perfect for everyday wear and for travel as well. They also fit perfectly in our suitcases and backpacking day bags.

Oooh I actually really like these! Coincidentally, I’m looking to replace my shoes for my upcoming trip to Japan. Love the Verde sandals, and the fact that we can get men’s shoes too (my husband always needs new shoes). Glad to learn about these. Thanks!

Hi Julianne! We are jealous that you’re going to Japan soon. We went in 2015 and loved it so much we’re going back next year. I think that you’ll find these to be very comfortable for your trip. I hope your husband finds a pair he likes as well! Thank you for reading.

I have some foot issues and would love to try these! Maybe Addy and the sandals too. It’s just way too hard to find cute shoes that are comfortable too! Love these!

We were so happy to hear that Superfeet finally came out with shoes. The insoles also work wonders, but now we have something that is built from the inside out. I hope you have some relief if you decide to try out Superfeet. 🙂

I think you’d love these as I am typically quite picky about my shoes as well. Addy is my favorite pair of stylish tennis shoes!

Initially during my travels, I didn’t give much attention to my shoes. But now I have realised that a good pair of shoes are a must. It’s a cherry on the cake if they look stylish as well.

Footwear is so important and many of us take it for granted. A right balance between style and comfort needs to be maintained. Personally I would never compromise on comfort for the sake of style.

We completely agree with you! In younger years, the styles were more important but now comfort has taken the ranks. What we love about Superfeet is that they are both comfortable and stylish so you have the best of both worlds.

It sounds like these shoes are really comfortable. We try to always wear comfortable shoes for when we are walking around a new city seeing the sights. Sometimes we get self concious of have running shoes on when we find a nicer restaurant we want to go inside so it’s always great to have confort and style.

Shoes are extremely important when travelling, and especially because you just can’t bring multiple pairs of them with you. That is why you need something that feels good, looks good and lasts long. These shoes look really nice. Maybe I will end up trying them.

This brand is new to me, but I’m liking what I see! Glad to hear they’re comfortable, but they look pretty cool too. I pretty much used to travel with a pair of Vanns and Havaianas, but when I got to Patagonia I had to reassess this. Thanks for sharing!

We’ve been using their insoles for a little over a year now and we were very impressed by how well they fit into our shoes as well as how much they helped relieve foot pain! When we learned of the new shoe line we were obviously excited. 🙂 Thank you for reading! I hope you have a wonderful time in Patagonia.
